Pavement Marking, Line Striping

New Layout, Re-striping and Stencil Pavement Marking

Stenciled paving markings and line striping can be a ‘stand alone’ service to refresh your commercial parking lot, but must always be a part of your restoration plan when having an asphalt sealcoat performed. We use only top-quality specification traffic paint, new state of the art airless line stripers, and ADA compliant stencils performed by professional, experienced crews. Pavement markings and line striping are precisely applied to the specific area. We feature new layout and re-striping services.

How Parking Lot Line Striping Works

Striping in Southwestern Ohio is pretty straight forword as it is highly dependent upon the time of year. When our team shows up at your location to stripe, the first order of business is to check that the work area is clean and free of debris. While line striping is usually completed immediately after a parking lot has been surfaced or re-surfaced, we can easily stripe most locations no matter the age or condition.

Best Weather Conditions for Line Striping

Similar to other outdoor painting projects, weather conditions play a major role in creating a ‘paint-friendly’ environment. Ground and air temperatures may restrict the ability to apply the paint, or prevent the paint from drying properly. Additionally, the parking lot needs to be dry to allow the paint to adhere to the surface.  While we cannot actively paint in the rain or snow, we do use fast-drying paint products that can be applied ahead of a weather event.

Parking Lot Sizes for Line Striping

We can put linework down in nearly any location and on nearly any size lot. No job is too large or small. We most often work on asphalt and concrete, however we can also paint temporary stencil work and/or line striping across soil or gravel. Smaller job requests can generally be scheduled quickly, however larger projects need to be thoroughly consulted and scheduled to help ensure minimal loss of access to your lot.

Line Striping and Stenciling

Depending on the type of project, we may use some hand spray paint to make markings for measurements and to set up our work grid. Once the dimensions are set, we bring in our line striping and stenciling equipment and begin laying down the paint.

Drying Times

A certain amount of time is required for your new parking lot to dry, which is largely determined by weather conditions. Paint will dry much faster on a warm sunny day compared to a cool overcast day. Drying times vary, and can take up to a day to complete after application, however in several cases the drying process completed in just a few hours. We do our best to schedule your line striping appointment to avoid as much disruption to your business as possible.
